What is the treatment?
The KTP 532nm laser is a next-generation system designed to treat vascular and pigmented skin lesions with exceptional accuracy, speed, and comfort. With its ultra-precise 1mm spot size, stable peak power, and pulse repetition of up to 20Hz, this laser offers an advanced, non-invasive solution for a wide range of skin concerns — all while being safe for both patient and practitioner.
Thanks to its continuous wave mode, the system can also effectively treat benign skin growths like skin tags and warts.
How does it work?
The treatment harnesses the power of the 532nm wavelength, generated by the KTP (Potassium Titanyl Phosphate) laser. This wavelength is known for its strong absorption by two key chromophores in the skin:
- Hemoglobin: The pigment found in blood, responsible for vascular concerns such as spider veins and rosacea.
- Melanin: The pigment responsible for skin color, including freckles, sun spots, and age spots.
By selectively targeting these pigments, the laser delivers thermal energy to the affected area without damaging the surrounding tissue. The unwanted blood vessels coagulate and collapse, while pigmented lesions are broken down and naturally eliminated by the body over time.

Most clients need between 1–3 sessions, depending on the condition being treated. This will be discussed during your consultation.
You may feel a light snapping sensation or warmth during treatment, but it is generally well tolerated. Cooling can be used to improve comfort.
Minimal. You might experience slight redness or swelling immediately after the treatment, which typically subsides within 24–48 hours.
It’s best to avoid applying makeup for the first 24 hours post-treatment.
Results often begin to appear within a few days, with continued improvement over the following weeks.
