Phēau was founded by Sanne Swinkels. For many years, Sanne has shown her passion for skin improvement and skin rejuvenation by working for various high-end and well-known salons. Having started her career at Dermalogica, she then worked as a skin expert at Bergman MediSpas before starting her own salon, Sanne Swinkels Skincare, in Amsterdam in 2015. Here she helped her loyal clientele, ranging from clients seeking to maintain a healthy skin condition to clients with structural skin problems, to achieve visible and above all, durable improvement of their skin.
In 2022 Sanne opened a completely new salon in Laren, near Amsterdam. At Phēau Sanne leads an outstandingly trained team of skin experts, working with top range skin improving products and the latest innovations in skin treatment.

What’s in the name?
Phēau is a combination of the French words for skin (peau) and water (eau) and the acidity measurement pH.
Your skin needs water to give it strength and elasticity. Less obvious but equally important is a healthy measure of acidity of the skin’s protective mantle. A healthy, well hydrated skin is what the team of skin experts at Phēau aims to achieve through the advanced treatments, specialized products and tailored advice.
